Just a quick question, as I wont know if I can get to the game until the last minute, can we pay at the ground? I will be hoping for a decent performance & no injuries. Just a chance to see how our new look side lines up.

Radders has said he will be playing his fringe players in the derby, probably a similar line up to the one selected for Cas. Radders is going to use the Salford friendly as his first team run out.

Sheens is expected to give the whole squad a run out, fielding his 'first team' in the first half.

For me, the watching brief will be on the tactics and systems Sheens has been instilling into the squad. At the Wakey trial he had the players driving the ball with tempo, the half backs kick-n-chase with orders of keeping the ball in-play, and a defensive press in the opposition 20m. It was classic Sheens. It will be interesting to see how this pans out in the rigours of match conditions.

As per last year, I won't attend, this is of no interest to me until they decide to play it at our place and share the fixture every other year.

Not excited by this friendly and factor in the price and probable freezing conditions I feel like not going.saying that I said same thing last few years and still ended up going. Fairly happy with what I'm seeing so far pre season and hopeful for our campaign.

Pretty much in the same boat, I usually start the week not bothered and by the end of the week end up going due to lack of Rugby in recent weeks. Not this year, have no interest in seeing an under strength Rovers playing Hulls fringe players. Couldn't care less if we put 100 on them or vice-versa it will be meaningless.

Ditto - me too. Intend to go away to Leeds though for the Ryan Hall testimonial game.

I see Queenie is putting Andy, Ken, Mark and Mo in to your exalted company this New Year. Make sure you mention the Robins when you bump into them at the Palace Garden Party.
