Not sure what to think of his actual arrival.

A player that has only played 12 top Grade games and none for seven years.

I actually don't give a flying one who his cousin is, it could be the queen for all I care but a lot of fans on social media are treating this like we have just signed Billy Slater! I hope it proves to be an inspired signing but time will tell.

Heard that we may be on the verge of losing a couple of our up and coming stars too!

We can only trust in the wizard though, i'm sure he knows what he's doing.

I hope he goes well and he looks like he has something we don't really have in our backline which is footwork and strength, think both minns, shaw and heff are all pace and line players if that makes sense.

What this signing does show you though is the mindset of fans with regards to signings.

Take the tickle and lee signings, both probably on lowish wages, both bring experience in the top flight and you know both will be steady if not spectacular and utter uproar ensues from fans about the signings.

Sign VaiVai, who is aussie with a famous cousin and a good highlights reel and everybody lauds it as a game changer. Why? as rightly pointed out he has no big game experience really and not played at a high level in a while. I trust sheens judgement and hope he can product the goods but it just shows how misguided fans opinions on signings can be.

With regards to losing a few, we are not even at the point of players been able to speak to people when out of contract are we? I thought that was May some time so that sounds like false rumours

You couldnt make it up. Heaps of promotion and speculation ...and now he is serving food in the restaurant .

I hope Vaivai goes well but hes got to be well short of match fitness surely, id think a few games at York would be needed but can we afford to send him there when our first team is crying out for new arrivals?
