Shaw receives 2 game ban. Ellis gets nothing for plucking Bird. Things do seem to be golden for Hull at present? Shaws daft action in last minute is costly now as Sheens obviously wants Hall at FB and this leaves us short if Oakes isn't fit? He doesn't seem over impressed with Dagger there so may go with Atkin FB again ? Little things but they all add up.

I will do my best to write how I see it going with what we know now..Disciplinary and both teams seemingly having 2 props each leave many questions.
I like Rovers back row Linnett Joel and Hauraki are as tough as they come. Lunt being fit alongside Garbutt will go someway to laying a platform if they play? For once I aren't overly concerned with Hulls pack and feel that is where we COULD have an advantage? What does worry me is Griffin and Fairamos sheer size in the backs.Throw in Kelly who scared the Cats defence stiff every time he touched the ball and Connor and Snide who generally play well plus maybe Shaul to come back in it looks like FC have more punch in the backs? Savelio Paea Westy Taylor possibly to come back as opposed to our returnees of Oakes Jewitt (Will believe when I see it)Lunt. It does look advantage Hull. My head says Hull win by couple of score. My heart says KR in another bum squeak finish. Our only chance is to lay that platform and dominating Hulls pack thus not letting their backs get space and time and Drink and McGuire pull the strings. Add in Teflon Talanoas farewell,Hulls high morale plus the nature of losing the 1st Derby then it's the perfect storm in Hulls favour. The counter is last few home games Hull have stank and seem to have capitulation in them if gone behind? I've waffled enough and think anything could happen as always come Derby day. But from a betting POV I would be backing Hull unfortunately.

Great post, balanced, honest.

I'd go for similar lineup we had against Leeds with Jewitt (if ready) covering for Masoe. We could also do with replacing Addy who is making some dumb decisions recently.

So for me:
Hall
Vaivai
Crooks
Keinhorst
Oakes
McGuire
Drinkwater
Linnett
Lee
Mulhern
Tomkins
Hauraki
Lawler

Lunt
Jewitt
Anyone but Addy - maybe Atkin
Garbutt

Although Linnett at centre vs Leeds was great to watch.

I think Gallanteers line up is about as good as it gets.Big test for Oakes again although he's been better this season so far. Would like to see a big game from Vai Vai, both in defence and attack he's been fairly quiet this term.Mulhern has to front up and Keinhorst also needs to step up. Addy i agree is another who must improve but in fairness it was a very serious injury. Lawler on the other hand I have no concerns with.A real tough so and so and some others are being shamed by this lads efforts. Realistically our centres and wingers must get the better of their opposite numbers or it will be a long day.

Depending on injuries I think Sheens will put Linnet in the centre to combat Griffin

That is valid point After Radfords swipe at the home fans a good start from us could get the Boo Boys at it? For all the build up looking like a good win for Hull they do have a habit of fluffing their lines when getting a big crowd in and getting beaten when most expect the win. Don't think anyone could deny FC rightfully favourites for the win unless a deluded WUM but we have a punchers chance.

I certainly wouldn’t bet my savings on the result either way, It just depends which of our two sides turn up, the hard working grafters & fighters or the error strewn startled rabbit in the headlights? Any black & white fan could say this as well, could be interesting if we both have an off day.
