I happily entrust the safety of the club to Hudgell. We know he's not interested in making money from Rovers that's clearly evident.

Those that have a little bit of insider knowledge.. Some have seen plans know that borrowing against the ground is not in his plans either.

Yes, I am sure they have seen detailed business plans. He openly states the club need to be self-sufficient, owning an asset with a managed mortgage set against rental commercial income and club receipts would create such an entity.

Why would Neil burden the club with a mortgage when he doesn't have too.
He talks in his interview about been self sufficient and not having to pay the monthly cost of a lease agrement. So why then go out & get a costly mortgage.
Your correct in thinking he needs investment but from what I hear that investment would come from a developer.

We'll see what happens, I doubt an announcement will be made about how everything is being financed, nor should anyone expect it to be.

Maybe the cost of the mortgage is less than the rent? The running costs of day to day operation are the same.Coupled to the fact if you own the ground any gain in property values are yours as the owner, along with all other revenues & developments. Non of the afore mentioned matters if it is not managed properly.

The Council own all the land and buildings, KCD Dominic Gibbons, Keith Brown, Andrew Robinson (all directors) own a long term lease, leased by HCC, and rent the ground to Hull KR, for Hull KR to purchase the freehold HCC have to buy back the lease from KCD, Hull KR have then offered market value for the freehold but for this to happen all party’s must reach agreement, which is very close to being done.

so looks like the council will be funding Rovers in some way for this move , Councillor Webster

Success consists of getting up just one more time than you've fallen down.

I assumed you’d know what market value meant, or to put it another way full commercial price, no subsidy.
