Was Dagger unlucky ? Did he slip just before it ?
Will it or should it go to Disciplinary ?
It was like Billy Slaters in the GF semi final 2 years ago

Looked worse than it was. Penalty sufficient, didnt make contact with the head. Thought he was one of your stand outs tonight.

Dagger went in trying to wrap arm but bounced off. Suppose in letter of law was a yellow nowadays. Certainly more worthy a card then Brierleys.
Just seen to be doing it hard again. The injuries are mounting up and whilst i commend the effort we need new blood and a few troops back fit. If Dagger does get a ban I'd put Breierley FB and play Lewis. Don't play anyone with knock next week and take the hit.

Ethan Ryan played FB for Bulls last season so he could slot in if needed.

No way a ban. Penalty was sufficient.

Nothing in it for me, just a poor technique. Penalty sufficient.

Referee mimicked the shoulder charge position after blowing for the penalty. In the current rule there is no provision for an accidental or safe shoulder charge so an immediate sin bin should have been given.

Also in NRL the rule on shoulder charges was strengthened after the Slater incident so that the excuse of "what else could I have done to stop the try", as he used in his defence, no longer applies.

Clare wasn't that upset about it either.

No he wasn't Wayne, he jumped straight up which probably helped Daggers case, and he did apologise.
