Visit //www.geofflee.net for details of my novels 'One Winter', 'One Spring', 'One Summer' 'One Autumn' 'Two Seasons'. and "Three Good Years" All six feature Rugby League against a humourous Lancashire/Yorkshire background and are inspired by the old saying about work: "They could write a book about this place. It would be a best seller."

For all those people now faced with the prospect of having to self isolate and wondering how to pass the time, can I suggest doing something that is enjoyable, interesting, educational and cheap. Why not trying to write a novel based on your own life and times.
This is something that I started doing in 1988. It was inspired by three things: my interest and knowledge of the game of rugby league, its history and its many characters, my family tree going back to 1777 and the old saying about work that "They could write a book about this place. It would be a best seller. Since then I have gone on to write half a million words in six novels.
Based on my experiences I have now written some guide lines on how to get started and do it. If you want to read them just send me your name, location and club supported to wgeofflee@gmail.com and I'll send them to you.
However if you prefer at this stage to read one of my novels, can I suggest my latest which is called "Three Good Years". It is set during the 2006, 7 and 8 seasons with a background of work, Family Life, Saving the NHS and Rugby League
It is available from London League Publications. Visit them at http://www.llpshop.co.uk. Click on Books and then Fiction.
