'Thus I am tormented by my curiosity and humbled by my ignorance.' from History of an Old Bramin, The New York Mirror (A Weekly Journal Devoted to Literature and the Fine Arts), February 16th 1833.
Friday night at home to Cas in the cup, come on rovers fans, this game must capture the imagination.
Disappointing news for young Minchella, he was looking like a good prospect, but he’s young enough to come back,
A good game for your return at home in Hull, is it televised.
It captures the imagination in the same way characters in a SAW movie are captured.
I’ve not actually seen those films, so hopefully that metaphor makes some sort of sense.
We’ve been bad at rugby for long enough that it has become hard for me to imagine anything good happening, and there’s no point imagining the other. Even if we were to win, I’d worry that we’d expended part of our (likely tiny) ration of good performances in a game that doesn’t offer any league points.
Change of some sort will come one day. Until then though, it’s going to take a lot more than a game against Castleford in a early round of the cup to whet my appetite.

Lol you never know, it may just be your unchained melody game, win this your in the last eight,
I read somewhere it was 1986 since you last played Cas in the cup, On paper Cas are favourites, but it can be a moody game rugby league, and with Powell leaving, and Wells resignation, you just never know.
Its a shame fans aren’t allowed back yet, as I imagine Cas would not relish this contest,
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

You couldn't help it could you? You had to mention it, you wouldn't let it lie. Jamie "Bloody" Sandy.
We're incapable of playing rugby league for a full eighty minutes so we've got little to no chance.
No doubt come Friday, Mental Girlfriend Syndrome will kick in and then the belief kills you.
