If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Anyone goimg tomorrow and if so, which stand?
Not been for ages, thinking of using this as a test event for COVID.
Huddersfield ticket site doesn't allow me to buy tickets in the Magic Rock stand which is where we usually go.

Found out me sen innit, twenty five queens on the gate, The Sportsman for a couple of scoops prior.

Going for a classic "GENE 14" shirt given his legendary status at both clubs.

Can't see a win, Fartown are unpredictable but we look gassed and just for a change, light in the props.

Question 1. Which team will give Leigh their next win.
Question 2. How many KR players have got their holidays booked.

The effort was there tonight, Lewis was good.

Crooks had a game to forget.

Our problem, which goes right back to the Sandercock era is goal line defence, although that did improve once the game was gone.

We had enough territory and possession to win that game,we just made crucial errors at critical areas of the field.

Didn't see the game so can.t comment too much, but will anyway. Scored six tries which is good, but they scored seven which is not good enough. We do seem to score out wide more than others or maybe that's my misassumption, which then affects our conversion rate, which consequently more than not affects the win ratio, among other things. We have lost close games this cut down season because of poor conversion rates which is bloody annoying,(miss Ryan Shaws goalkicking) also lost by drop goals too often. Little things like this make a big difference are game management issues which need addressing. Annoyingly as supporters we can see it coming in close games and it usually does happen. Sneyd a perfect example, we just knew it. The dullers have won more than they have lost like this, and they are no great shakes, in fact they are awful to watch. We have lost many more and this needs addressing. To be a top team or even get close, game management needs to improve. Top teams win close games, and believe they will win and put themselves in a position to win, and generally do. When all is said and done, that's all that really matters.
That said, can't complain too much, we are a better side now, but injuries are biting, and us long suffering loyal supporters who have seen success just want it back, it's been far too long. There is a glimmer of better times, just hope the club can push on now. We have had enough this bottom dwelling disappointing let down c**p.
On a side issue, Crooks, Minikin, and Maher...retain or not? If we get rid, who could we get who is better? The jury is out for me.
