Always good when our sport makes the headlines for the right reason's so pleased to read about HKR's purchase of their ground and equally so the plans in place to create new training facilities for all the teams within the club, stadium improvements, community facilities and a host of other plans regards the surrounding land also included in the deal.

It is very exciting. Has the potential to be transformational. I look forward to hearing more about plans for the generational project in the future… I’m imagining that talk of ‘starting the thought process’ on what it’ll be is to dampen expectations of an immediate announcement. I mean you don’t make an investment like this without some outline of an idea or two, I imagine. And some stuff has been mentioned, as you note above.

Neil Hudgell continues to be a fine custodian of the club.

If the plans for the rest of the land comes of years ago I went to Penrith in Australia and there set up is amazing they have a cinama and golf and restaurants and a place full of one arm bandits and tracking horses it was great something along the same lines would help pay for great players
