It's ok WC, at least the guy has the balls and respect to acknowledge something when he's wrong and that's all we as posters could ask for seeing as everybody has a different opinion.

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

If the conflict of interest is fox then would our free to air deal be bigger than AFL's?

NRL expansion? Sometime soon, maybe......

Re: TV Deal : Sun May 22, 2011 9:18 pm
NRL has conflicts all over, Telstra/Fox/Ch9 are all in bed totgether. Sadly so is Ch10 who we are hoping will get us the billion. As the most valuable TV product the desire to get NRL cheaply and the ineffective ARL has meant RL has been dogged with conflict of interests for 20+ years.

If this is true, its a giant step forward for Rugby League in Australia with its battle with fumbleball.

We modelled a number of assumptions. We modelled a scenario where everyone will be happy. :BLAH:

Not saying the TV deal won't be a lot bigger than last time, but until ink is on paper all we will get is more and more of these NRL Journalists talking the game up........

As for the 'battle with fumbleball'.........are you 3yrs old

I'd presume they were basing it on preliminary negations?

The 1.4 is a bit misleading as they worked through 3 different packages.

1 billion, 1.2 billion and 1.4 billion.

If you want to post on here you can, but calling everyone trolls who you disagree with will not be tolerated.

the top player will now be on 2 - 3 million dollars

we will be able to raid other codes at will

a win for all the true believers

:D

and imagine how much more future deals will be worth when we add perth, PNG, 2nd NZ team and 3 - 4 more queensland teams as well.

we have decades of strong growth yet in queensland!!!!

Often disagreed with you.........but never doubted your passion or commitment.....welcome back
Still say 850 to 950 will be the deal unless the nrl add 2 more audiences/state capitals.

The reason I thought we wouldn't get our true worth is because Gallop made comments hoping the tv deal would be in place before the ic, now that hasn't happened I feel quite optimistic.
