I realise it’s a tough time in Cumbria but this suggestion may provide a positive from a couple of negatives!
How about a series of rugby weekends in the area?
Would it be possible for one club to play Saturday evening and one on Sunday afternoon?
Rather than compete for spectators why not try to share travelling support, it looks like all three clubs will be in the same division so I imagine the travelling support will be interested to see how other clubs are playing even if their team is not involved.
