Hello, im new to this forum- my name is kev buck, whatever i post will be an official post from Widnes St Maries. Im part of the coaching staff and on the clubs commitee......Halton Rugby League is nothing to do with St Maries.... i've been informed by a reliable source he's from another Widnes team trying to give the Maries a bad name!!!! ......ok i relise we already have a bad name!!! but we are sorting this out. We are a community based club with a great youth set up....sometimes our open age team/fans ( mainly fans ) give us a bad name!! There is alot of passionate people at the club who in the last few years have taken this passion a bit too far!!
We've had varoius meetings regarding our discipline on and off the field, and we are heading in the right direction.

THE TRUTH... thats what you'll always get from me..... vs Woolston the ref didn't beat us Woolston did!!!! ok quite a few of our players where sin binned... but deservingly so. NO COMPLAINTS!!!

vs West Bank we dominated possesion and for most of the game looked the better side.....BUT West Bank took their chances better and played for 80 mins.. NO COMPLAINTS WELL DONE WEST BANK.

We are now flying the Flag for Div 2 nwc in the National Cup... i would hope many of you would want us to do well??? We play Fryston on Saturday... who apparently have a rep that makes us look like pussy cats!!!!

Welcome aboard Kev.

West Bank have another look at those scores mate. . . Askam will put at least 30 on against Latchford and Latchford will be lucky to score. And you guys should, by rights, muller Pats they are probably the most inconsistent team this year.

Well said Kev, I'm pretty sure you're right about Halton Rugby League too, hence why I stopped replying!
Best of luck this weekend, we've got Clock face they're top of division one but we like nothing better than being the underdog!

Very tough game for you men coley, they like to have a battle in the forwards, should be a cracking game, good luck. They do have a big pitch and it is quite a good pitch too.

Jaydubya latchford are stronger I don't think they will get battered, and us vs the pats will be a tough game especially since the at home and we nilled them at our place so the will want to put in a performance.

Cheers WB, we'll be meeting in the league soon too!
I can't wait, should be a real test of where were up to. We played Bank Quay in a preseason friendly and got hammered but weve got alot of different players and more importantly we've got a completely different attitude now! I believe your new number 7 is s great player (just hope he's signed on correctly )
Make sure you introduce yourself when we play!

Yeah mate it should be a good game like they have been the last few times we have played you men, our number 7 is a really good player and is signed on don't worry about that lol, I will be hard to miss when we play i will be the lad on the crutches on the side line, broke me leg and fractured and dislocated me ankle in the lancs cup final, so I won't be playing again this season, (not that am needed), lol.
You seem to of got over your poor form at the start and have done well, I think we will be your only test in the league and you should finish 2nd at least.

Ah right, sounds nasty mate! Well good luck with the recovery etc.
Yeah we started off very poorly, think we'd played 4 lost 3 at the start of season, since then we've not lost a game though we're 13 without loss now.
