Hot off the press fellas, NWC Div 2, SV, irlam, halton farnworth,orrell st james, heysham, ulverston, langworthy reds, haresfinch,higginshaw, hindpool, our 1st game home v irlam 3rd sept....good luck to all involved, let the banter commence.......

Should be some great games in this division.

3 coach trips too

From a HFH point of view there are an awful lot of unknowns, having only played OSJ and SV recently.

I'll say at this point try to keep it all friendly, but i'm sure you all will

Spring View & Irlam for me are the ones to watch. Whichever of those two handles the Cumbria trips best to win the league.

just been training tonight our manager told us about what division and teams we are playing.if we can beat sv and hfh then we are in with a shout.can,t wait to get this final out of way then on to sv.

Played in our first pre season friendly on Saturday just gone in the 'damian aspey memorial trophy' v wigan st cuths, at cuthberts, went down 26-20, and should have probably come away with the win.

2nd friendly tomorrow v another prem team Ashton....looking forward to it, both games should put us in good stead for our first game v Irlam.

See Higginshaw have requested they be moved down to division 3 and NWC have asked if any team from division 3 would like to move up. Not sure if any of the teams currently in that league would want to come into division 2 with the prospect of 2 trips to Cumbria.
