I watched the Queens vs warriors final. Why will it be tasty with Cutsyke then?

When Queens started the Brawling just before Half-Time a few Cutsyke players gave the Warriors some Verbal and were saying what they'd if they were playing "Tank" being the biggest culprit IIRC...
Hunslet Warriors have been in excellent Pre-Season Form beating Castleford Lock Lane 34-14 in the Martin Durow Memorial Trophy, Aswell as Siddal first & then Ovenden in the Final of the Fitness First Trophy...

So in summary. 1 drunken non -player spouting off on the touchline. :o

I agree Warriors will be the team to beat but i would count Fryston as dark horses especially as they start the fixtures home to Queens and Old Boys with Warriors away in between.

A bit more than that in all honesty, Should be a decent league trouble permitting, Just a shame Wariors were denied the chance to tackle the Conference again...

Education is a crutch with which the foolish attack the wise to prove that they are not idiots - Karl Kraus

warriors applied for the NCL again this year and at the AGM the member clubs voted not to include the warriors in this seasons comp. by all accounts the vote was quite close. imho if the warriors can keep the idiots away this season and avoid any major disciplinary matters they may get voted back into the NCL next season.

warriors, queens and old boys all applied to join the pennine league. at the agm the member clubs voted 53 against 1 for with regards queens joining the league, 51 against 3 for regards old boys and something similar for warriors. i think the major worry for most clubs was the disciplinary side of things, crowd trouble etc. also, all three clubs would expect to go straight into the premier division and that division is pretty full as it stands.

makes me laugh that no one wants em cos of trouble but yorkshire league are happy to have em and let them get away with it!

clubs in past who get booted out for trouble just end up all the players going to another club and doing exact same

To be fair it wasn't really the players at the Warriors but more than fans IIRC, It is all in order now and i'm shocked that they weren't allowed back in the Conference or into the Penine League...

Anybody know if the 'Ben Morley' Batley Boys Past V Present charity game is going to be played again this year?
