Hindpool Tigers 18-18 Spring View
Would have definately taken a draw before the game but the lads were pretty gutted not to get the win at full time. Thought our young lads did really well against much bigger opposition and if we can keep this side together we wont go far wrong.

Good win for Irlam, had been told Heysham were struggling a bit but I thought people were just winding me up. Expected Ulverston to come away from Leyland with something after watching them beat premier league Barrow Island the other week.

A very tough game in warm, volatile conditions....hindpool have defo improved from last year.
Considering we did 65 minutes with 12 men I would take the draw and have no doubt with the extra man would have taken the spoils today, however fair play and well done to hindpool, who i think will take some scalps up there this year.
Very impessed with our performance considering we are 4/5 men different from last year, and wouldnt like to be the side we face when we gel.

We had a really good squad out on Saturday & put in a good performance.
You men will beat a few teams this year with the squad you've got.

I hope so, we didn't stick to anything we had gone through pre game though, we should never have tried playing against your pack, very impressed with you guys you'll do very well.
I did ask after you after the game but couldn't find you.
Did you play?

I was the 2nd Row that your number 10 took a liking too.
Good fella, had a good laugh and chat after the game, that's what it's all about i think, trying your hardest for 80 mins, then having a laugh with the opposition after.
