Mid week games would be an absolute nightmare for us when you take in to consideration it takes on average four hours for either us or the away teams to travel to the games and bearing in mind the lads are either in college/university or work .

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done But he with a chuckle replied That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried. So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

Which is why some of us were questioning you cancelling matches because of players on representative duty [ or the logic of picking so many players from one club when in all honest there are players just as good at other clubs ] earlier in the season
And also the reason I have suggested a revised format if the competition is to continue
Cant answer the question on selection but on the other point of cancelling games I can honestly say the Crusaders did not cancel any games in fact due to injuries the head coach fought tooth and nail to get the GB boys released so that the games could go ahead but the GB selectors point blank refused. All the Crusaders boys want to do is play rugby and they would not worry about playing 2 games in 1 week, they are quite used to that coming from a union background.

Why not? These lads have played both codes and are all of the agreement that although league is a faster more open game, it is no more physical than union and the injuries sustained are basically the same.
Great to see we have got a game this weekend against North London Stags. Hope the lads are up for it after such a long lay off.
Interesting clash between Cumbria and Miners, should be hell of a game!
North London Stags 6 Celtic 36.
Nice to see the lads back in action with a win. A bit rusty after such a long lay off but hopefully they can push on from here.
