Just seen that Oldham Athletic have had to call their game off. There are still some places where it won't have heated up much.

Wish we'd thought of that a few hours ago.

I'll text the club sec & see what he thinks...problem is lads will have taken work for tomorrow, and/or be out on the lash by now so I wouldn't get your hopes up! Thought games would have been on this weekend but our pitch isn't playable by all accounts.

Boars beat Rylands 26-16 was a tough game.

Think we got Newton next week obviously weather permitting so should be good, dont think they have lost for a while.

Not optimistic about this weekend - temperatures are set to go well below 0°C, with Bury supposed to have snow from Thursday and a high of -1°C on Friday, with Saturday much the same. Most of the NW is predicted much the same - we're supposed to travel to Widnes, also in for snow and freezing temps.

Don't reckon we'll see many games until mid-Jan. I'll just be happy if we can train this week - feels like months since I've touched any balls.

Same here, hope we can train on the pitch tomorrow night, probably going to be the last time before new year that we touch a rugby ball! Storms saturday is set up...if the game is off were playing pub rugby

haha heard it all now, ur mixing me up with the other prop who cant fart without permission.

if there's any game that goes ahead this weekend its us v wildboar, were itching to play after being let down last few weeks by the weather.
still looking for my first try too, be great to get it in this game as times running out and our forfeit for not scoring is the naked lap on presentation evening. no way i wanna do that. i have a small jammy!!!

came to watch wildboar v rylands, impressed with ur fullback he had a great game and danny the elbow did some great drives that i was impressed with. your discipline won u that game (i wont mention the double movement on the last try though

It looks well when our front row can smash through anyone, out stregnthen most players, they will take on 18-20st lads each week, yet theyre both completely and utterly pussy whipped by a pair of 10stone women!!!!!!!!

Have you seen the forecast for Friday and Saturday?

Saturday, Mist & Snow, Max is -3, minimum is -7! The game wont be on

Was a hard game never trained for a few weeks and never played for about 5 week so that never helped. Funny how you said discipline won it for us considering last time we played rylands we had something like 5 of us sinbinned at the same time, anyway showed we have turned that side of our game around.

Certaintly dosent look like we will be playing, what happend to your game last saturday? get points or it get postponed?
