Quite a few good fixtures this week with Wigan v Rylands looking the pick of the games;

Chorley vs Newton
Crosfields vs Wigan St Cuthberts
Westhoughton vs Eccleston
Widnes vs Bury
Wigan Bulldogs vs Rylands

Shame the league is over for us now just hope we have a few good cup runs!! all training this sat and going watching a game so hopefully that will help not playing !!

Well it's nearly midnight and we still have a team, though even I might be strapping on my boots tomorrow!!

Fingers crossed we'll be there! I'm assuming you're No.10, I'll be sure to say hello! Probably at the most inconvenient moment.

Thats odd because I have just done a 50 mile round trip from my house in Manchester only to be told Bury called the game off just before 1pm. I will send my expences to your club!

I suggest you have a word closer to home then mate. mmp even rang your lot about 10.00ish to warn our numbers were starting to look a bit iffy (4 dropouts on the day again - 2 are medical, both concerning kids so can't complain about those but getting pretty naffed off with the state of our squad at the moment - 2 more season ending injuries this week). We were coming with 15/6 last night.

Myself and mmp made the decision at exactly 11.00am and I can guarantee he rang Widnes straight away.

Just a point of interest - how come you play for Widnes if you live in Manchester?

Played in widnes since I was 8. Only moved to Manchester 2 years ago to be closer to work all my mates in widnes. At my age i just want to play with friends for fun. Good luck drumming up interest in the closed season
