Saturday 24th:
Friendly, Ashton Bears A beat Blackpool Sea Eagles 60-22 at Blackpool.

The merit league play-offs start in a couple of weeks time, hopefully we can keep the form together for then.

It looks like we'll be keeping the majority of the squad together and entering NWC in the winter, dependant on a few details still to be sorted. For those players we are losing, the local football scene is getting some good rugby players back, shame really!

Anyone interested in joining for the winter either pm me or attend training Tuesdays and Thursdays at our Low Bank Road ground, 6.45pm.

Which means that we finished on the same points as Wirral and will now move above them in the league as they have conceded a fixture and we havent all season. Points difference does not come into play in the summer league.

sorry hogan but its confirmed as
west bank vs riversiders
lymm vs wirral
they have conceded but still on head to head they were better on aggregate and points diffrence is plus 8 yours is minus 78 or something like that, but am sure it dont matter who you will play its a semi final and a big game.

HOGAN it says in the rugby league express that we play use at our place on saturday so you could really do with checking we have been told we play yous.

The website and the papers havent taken into consideration the game Wirral defaulted on last week.

We have had the game confirmed from John Mcmullan who runs the North West Division.
