Nominations for the domestic awards announced.

Young player of the year: Samy Masselot (Villeneuve), David Guasch (St-Estève-XIII Catalan), Clément Soubeyras (Carpentras), Thomas Ambert (Pia), Thibault Ancely (Lézignan), Frédéric Chanfreau (St-Gaudens).

Étranger of the year: Neale Wyatt (Pia), Damien Quinn (Lézignan), Chris Feather (Villeneuve), Sam Key (Limoux), Lee Patterson (Carpentras), Reece Blaynay (Carcassonne).

Coach of the year: Aurélien Cologni (Lézignan), Benoît Albert (Pia), Florian Chautard (Avignon), Patrick Alberola (Carcassonne), Jean-Luc Delarose (Limoux), Renaud Guigue (Carpentras).

And the biggy, player of the year: Mickaël Murcia (Limoux), James Wynne (Lézignan), Frédéric Cermeno (Pia), Florian Quintilla (Lézignan), Christophe Moly (Carcassonne), Julien Rinaldi (Villeneuve).

If Jimmy Wynne doesn't take the top award, I'll be surprised.

Suprised Guash is in the mix, what with this being his second year in the LER.

Agree about Wynne, would be a shocker.

Chris Feather and Lee Paterson are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head.

Thanks for that. I'd completely forgotten Chris Feather had gone over.
Hasn't Patterson just signed for Fev?

Quite possibly. He's been doing winters in France and summers in England for a while now.

Josh Simm was at Carcassonne for most of the season, went back to Widnes at the end of March. I'm sure there's one or two others lower down the leagues, too.

According to Sam Burgess Chris Feather is now in Australia playing for Wyong Roos.

There's Gareth Dean at Carcassone. He's Welsh though
