On the plus side, the club can be transparent about their recruitment now without compromising Walters or being seen to undermining him.

Well at least we know and at least we know it will soon be over, unless there is a late season recovery and run to the play-offs.

The statement from Gausch was spot on. He has had some bad luck this season but he still has to turn it round and get us off the bottom of the table and as far as possible in the cup.

Trent Robinson, who played in France back in the day, has apparently emerged as a leading contender. He's currently Brian Smith's assistant at the Chooks

Great, another Smith disciple to enlighten everyone else on how to play the game. Remind me again how many titles Brian Smith has won.

I hope Trent doesn't bring the same slap happy attitude to contracts that his mentor has (I don't think Brian Smith has ever finished a contract).

What's wrong with giving the head coaches job to Laurent, he's passionate about the club and speaks both languages as well as being a great fella.

The club need to develop their own and they will see the benefit for years to come.
