He has had to tighten us up and take some of that flair out of our game to get us more solid.
We all want the free flowing, long range try scoring side of the Trent Robinson era back, but the run of form we were in and the way we were playing wasn't conducive to that. He also doesn't have the quality of player we had back then.
I've been playing in a side that threw the ball about and went for the spectacular last year and we got beat most weeks (except when Ricky guested). However over the winter we worked on set plays and organising the defence and whilst we aren't quite as good a watch, we do have a trophy in the cabinet.
