tououse where are they placed? : Tue Feb 02, 2010 8:11 pm
Compared to there 2009 application, the biggest question is if the competition reduces it makes it hard and will sky offer the same money. If orange tv where to pay for sl tv rights it may help if paris is in as well.
Given the timeframe i cannot see paris enough time for 2012, but if they are paying there own way who knows.
The championship: The positives - Crowds have increased to 4500 from 1500 in elite, the team is a lot stronger picked up duport and griffi both good players.
Neagtives- why as a expansion club do they have to play in comp only a bit stronger than the elite.
Updated criteria as of 2010
Stadia: While there current stadia is too small, well know fact either stade ernest 20 thousand capcity or the ground on the outskirts of 10 thousand will be home ground while there ground
Spectators: crowds averages of 4500, and test matches bring 10 thousand plus fans.
Players: squad has improved a lot since 2008, and if sl app. is succesful will see a lot of fringe dragons and elite players join.
finances: ok at prsent.
On the field: where as high as 3rd in first season but injuries meant finished near bottom, will be aiming for top 4.
Possible 25 man sl squad:
From toulouse: Villegas, Duport, N. Wynn, Griffi, Worth, anselme.
Catalans: Kane and andrew bentley,Touxagas, Raguin, Stacul, Barthau.
Elitle: Quintilla, Moly, sadaoui, Gagliazzo, Greseque, khattabi.
+ seven imports.
There biggest problem may be the paris bid who are paying there own way.
