That's a shame. When he was on for us I genuinely saw him as one of the best wingers in the league.

The derby coming up this week sees 21 players who have appeared for both Catalans and Toulouse in the game.

That familiarity is phenomenal and will hopefully lead to a super competitive match.

Is Ritchiegate the biggest ex-player story from Catalans ?

Carney and Bird were ahead of their time with Dracs let's not forget.

Sad tale and odd that its this sort of stuff that gets the game in the headlines.

Very remiss of us to have missed this one but ex-Dragons "legend" Michael Oldfield (not the one who did tubular bells) retired last closed season after a spell with Paramatta Eels.
