Bit embarrassing. At least it saves a trip to that London. And saves the club half a million.

It’s funny how a game can swing these days JD, when you hit back with those 2 quick response try’s, I thought the momentum was with you.

I was worried as you appeared to march down the pitch with ease. Another try from you and we could have put our cue on the rack again.
Shaul stopped a grounding of what looked a definite try.
That was critical.
Then just hanging in there and our desperate defence gave us a platform to get the next key try. Keeping our line intact up to Half Time was massive in the ebb and flow of the game.

Fortunately, we stuck to a good game plan and I think you tired a little too.
The 5 tries in the last 20 mins can happen to anyone these days once momentum has truly shifted. As long as the team in the ascendancy want to go for jugular.
We know we’ve had it done to us too many times as everyone knows, but we’re not a bad side either.

I do wonder if we are watching the most remarkable season of rugby league this year, with teams down and out one week and up and at them others.

Or it could be a low standard and teams just can't be bothered.

I was upset how we got blown away towards the end, but the poster above is right, it can happen to anyone.

Technically that's been three road trips on the bounce now if you count the Camp Nou, so fatigue can be a factor.

(oooh look at me making excuses for McNamara)

Going over the stats and a couple stand out:

67% completion rate vs 85%
88% tackle success (49 misses) vs 93% (20)

Got to respect possession more and any side missing that many tackles deserves a beating.

Too many terrible errors from the likes of Casty Edwards and Gigot for us to give ourselves a chance .

Eh merde! To make things worse KR lost as well, so there isn't even the silver lining of an all-'ull Semi or final.
