Yeah that one day a year when a few roads in the city centre are closed for what is effective a carnival must be very traumatic for you. As opposed to the 365 days that I have to put up with bile from people like you that froth with anger at our very existence.

Folau is one of the best RL players I've seen.
In RU he was head and shoulders better than anyone in Australia and in the top handful of players in the world.
I don't care about his religious views.
I do care that the Prime Minister of Australia has very similar views (although he is too smart to advertise it), because that guy can change laws and policies to reflect his archaic views, but Folau when not playing footy is just another religious nut.

Folau is a magnificent Rugby League player, You are lucky to have him. If you don't want him, can you please send him to Newcastle,

I agree that Scott Morrison is more of a danger, but that doesn't diminish Folau's hate speech - for that is what it is. It's not a competition.

I am torn about this, because I think that you need to let the Folau's of this world say what they think, otherwise you will never be able to discourse with them and change their understanding. I think that some amount of penance is due and the club should have backed up his signing with a goodly amount of LGBT promotion and maybe rainbow laces for the squad (including Folau). Sadly I don't see any attempt at changing his views or helping him.
