I know he's on about the game in Bridgend. The point I was making was that, in your precarious position, you should be welcoming away fans (who do so much for your club, whilst you do nothing to contribute to theirs) and not having a go at them.
Is he talking about one incident or suggesting that all were bad? The problem is that he really doesn't know what he's talking about and is just jumping on the old jealousy bandwagon. If he can't provide a response, I wonder if he was even there.
A bit of advice - in your precarious position, concentrate on endearing yourselves to fans from real SL clubs rather than alienating yourselves.
How are they in a 'precarious position' when there is no relegation?
Everyone needs a few season to adapt to SL. Catalans were languishing at the bottom of the table during their first season and look at them now, they have improved greatly, if they hadn't lost Potter close season they would be up at the top of the league again.
I think you're deluded if you think people are jealous of HKR. What is there to be jealous of!! I accept that the 'fans' who give the club a bad name are the minority however the bottom line is
every fan is seen as a trouble maker and a threat. If you've read your board recently you'll of seen about a completely un-provoked attack on a Wigan fan (my friend) after Sundays game and until these thugs a forced out of the game then people will not welcome HKR fans to their ground as they will be scared that they will be going home with a black eye or worse!!
I'm a gutted that I can't make it to Brewery Field on Sat to cheer on the Wire however I'm sure the Celtic fans will respect us if we respect them!!
