Apparently Mellars confirmed that both he and weller had resigned when asked by a fan shortly after the season ended

Your all picking this team and no mention of Elliot Kear, Lloyd White and Gil Dudson i think its about time these lads get a run. Also i would enquire to warrington about getting Rhs Williams and the Evans brothers on loan it will improve the welsh side for four nations and also give crusaders a decent looking welsh superleague team instead of have to many overseas. I think if some of these players dont get superleague action union will come sniffing.

Evans twins have chosen England so they can jog on, Wlliams however looked superb in the EC so I would definately be pleased if we go a season long loan of him.
Thacks wasnt even on the bench at the end of the year, he lost out to JJ so Thackary won be here next year
Rumor is we are interested in Mathieu (sp?) Griffi, dont know much bout him I'm afraid
Maddog i agree, I would love to see Dudson play a few matches and I hope Kear and White get regular playing time.
Kear on the wing and White alternating with Lincoln at hooker

Now the Westerman deal has finally been completed,

Weller Hauraki will be negotiating terms with Castleford, And will be announced within 2 weeks.

At the present time, Cas are a bigger club than Crusaders, And if we secure a new franchise/ Stadium etc He wont be in a bad place

The Hauraki to Leeds was feasible but I think Weller to cas is highly unlikely
1.Why would he leave a top 8 team for one that didnt rech the playoffs?
2. Iestyn surely would not sell our best player before his first season as coach (If he is announced Coach)

Strange move by Cas, out goes a home grown 'star' and in comes an overseas player. Given the tightness of the licence race this seems a retrograde step.

Weller Hauraki is Rangi Chase's best mate.... I would be sure he will be playing up here next year, Just a case of who is correct with me
