Well, tbh, most people at the match were in the Mold road stand. The Eric Roberts stand was empty and there were only a couple of hundred in the Yale stand. So if the centre section of the Mold Road stand was pretty full (which it was) the attendance figure of short of 1700 could be pretty accurate.

I was in the Mold re stand and it looked pretty full. Tickets were not numbered so many people left empty seats between strangers. From the opposite side of the pitch it would have looked pretty full.

I was in the Mold Road too and there wasn't many empty seats near me. Was nice to see Sammut come and sit with the fans in the stand.

There wasn't many Leeds fans there, so the attendance is pretty much Cru fans. Not bad for a very cold Friday night! It took me hours to defrost when I got home. lol

The Mail understands FC have made further moves this week in an their ongoing pursuit of Crusaders' Jarrod Sammut. The deal had looked dead as the Welsh outfit repeatedly stressed he would not be allowed to leave, and the 23-year-old this week spoke of his desire to have a successful season in Wales. However, sources have told the Mail Hull remain confident of pulling off the deal, and Crusaders may be persuaded to let Sammut go if Rhys Hanbury is cleared to return to the Racecourse Ground. Hanbury, who can play either half-back or full-back, is currently stuck in Australia awaiting visa clearance to return to the Crusaders. Six Crusaders players were deported in 2009 over visa problems and the club are being cautious over when Hanbury and team-mates Frank Winterstein and Hep Cahill are allowed back into the country. http://www.thisishullandeastriding.co.u ... ticle.html

Ok then say you can have Sammut when this other player gets his visa say two months down the line, meanwhile Sammut plays for crusaders and he gets an injury would hull still be happy to sign him then. Is this Hanbury a better overall player than Sammut, I really can't see Harris wanting Sammut to go.
