Crusaders would easily better the likes of those clubs at home. Also these 3 clubs (amongst others in the Championship) have just about zero away support coming west of the Pennines. I am certain Cru fans would do better than that going east. Leigh's away support is always good and a visit to North Wales would be a great day out. Must have been at least 1500 Leigh fans at the Stobart today adding to their SL coffers.
At least 1500 your having a laugh, 687 was the gate taking from the east stand.

I wasn't counting exactly but it certainly felt like 1500. We outsang and outcheered your lot no problem. It was a great game and a great afternoon. Thoroughly enjoyed it, thanks.

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done But he with a chuckle replied That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried. So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it!
I guessed at 800 midweek , and I don't think I was far off , but all irrelevant as far as the Wrexham club are concerned , if you could hold onto several hundred in the Championship , that would be great and a decent start to a new ' life ' as a lower tier club
The game will survive in North Wales. Too much work and effort has been put in, to let it go to waste. We have an appetite for this sport and we'll make it work.
You're likely to see me in a Crusaders shirt, in a Warrington game or a Catalans game.

I sincerely hope it happens
I'd be satisfied with that too, but I think we will be getting around a 1,000 possibly more. I reckon we take about 300ish to away games at the moment and I think the majority of them will continue to go to away games if there's a club.
We've got damn good supporters like that and they'll help out the club as much as they can, but will they stick to their word, that's another thing.
Obviously, I would never expect ones from South Wales to come, but with how truly great supporters they are, I'm sure they will.

I make you right but I think any new club has to budget for smallish gates and make sure that even if it is sub 1,000 it still meets its bills and if the bigger interest is there it can raise its sights in what sort of player it can attract and help shape any future ambitions.

Any Crusader fans will feel at home at Widnes next year , they'll lose most weeks as well
I wish Widnes all the best in Super League and I know they'll do well in the next 3 years, but after some of the things that happened in the friendly earlier this year and the poor recpetion we had, I don't think I'll bother to go and watch any of their games. I know its not all their supporters and know we'd get a good reception, as it all really stemmed back to us getting a licence and now its a thing of the past, but it wasn't too pleasant watching that game with some of the things that happened.
If Crusaders fold, I'll be at Warrington, just like I do now, when Crusaders aren't playing.

I think most of it is banter mate. Most Widnes fans are decent and over the years had great Welsh support.Jon Davies,Deveraux,Moriarty all signed from Wales.Every club has the idiots even Warrington.
