Casual Des, eh? Just to let you know he is Wendall on TRL, so make your own mind up!
Real Ale Pubs:
The Lower Angel - Right in the centre of town, located on Buttermarket Street.
http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=buttermarket+street,+Warrington&sll=53.774689,-4.042969&sspn=18.399876,39.418945&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Buttermarket+St,+Warrington,+Cheshire+WA1,+United+Kingdom&ll=53.389452,-2.589566&spn=0.004517,0.009624&z=17 The Tavern - On the edge of town about a five to ten minute walk away from the stadium, located on Church Street/A57.
http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&sourc ... ngdom&z=16 Food Pubs:
The Friar Penketh - This is a Wetherspoons, so it is usually quite good for grabbing a bite to eat. Located on Barbauld Street, halfway down Bridge Street, which is the main route through the town centre.
http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&sourc ... ngdom&z=16 There is another Wetherspoons pub, just opened at the bottom of Buttermarket Street just past the Lower Angel, although I cannot comment on it, not having been yet.
PS This is called The Premier.
Enjoy!

How could I forget!
CAMRA Pub, excellent range of beers and fantastic Sunday roast dinners.
A little further afield from the town centre on Battersby Lane, about a 10/15 minute walk from the Stadium.

I like Bazza. He chose the name of a cross dressing Austalian institutions other persona.....and is your typical Aussie w@nker living in London whilst he tries to get some culture by visiting Prague to get pi55ed on Cheap Star, getting a fondle from a dodgy hooker in amsterdam and eating a snail for a bet when in paris. All of these things will make him a cultural icon when his visa runs out and he is sent the way of his great grandparents....alas, not in chains this time.
NEW COMPETITION COMING SOON!! YOU COULD BE THE NEXT BARRY McKENZIE!! WATCH THIS SPACE!! Barry McKenzie can be contacted at aussielegendbaz@gmail.com
If the Celtic Crusaders are as poor as they were when I unfortunately saw them play in Newport then even a side like Warrington should put about 40 past them
