Looking forward to seeing Ste Tyrer in action. I'm surprised he hasn't had his chance before now. Hannay and Dalle Cort don't contribute anyting in attack what so ever.

So what happened, Dixon gave the impression he was going to play him then didnt include him in the 19.

I think its wrong that theyre denying him his chance he obviously came to play first team and he could easily have gone on loan somewhere else, or probably have stayed at saints and got a game given the state of their left side. The lad must be really frustrated.

We need to score ponts, saturday was a great defensive effort but we offered nothing going forward, particularly out wide, the lad has a great points tally with the ball in hand and the boot.

Why not give him a go?

Or maybe he has just not cut the mustard yet to break into the first team squad.

You wouldn't keep a player who deserved a first team place in the reserves if you're looking for results would you.

Alas, this was the problem with Steve back home too. It's his defence. He's got a fantastic boot and knows where the tryline is but he just can't seem to get his tackling sorted. It's not that he doesn't try, but he just doesn't seem to be able to conquer the technique. I hope he develops anyway.

As do I as it will benefit both our clubs.

I don't think John Dixon is silly enough to keep him in the reserves if he was deserving of a first team place, do you?

I thought the whole point of Steve going to you was to get first team rugby that he wasnt gong to get at Saints , it does seem very silly to play him in the reserves when he could have played in the reserves at Saints , If Dixon doesnt believe he is good enough , why have him on loan ? , and also the lads confidence must be taking a battering as nobody seems to trust him to play Super League , seems like some very strange decision making going on at both clubs maybe
