I can't speak for all fans at Wakey but i think the same feeling will apply towards the Celtic lads.

Be strong.

You are certainly speaking for me, and all the Wakey fans I know.
My/our thoughts are with all the Celtic crew, especially the young players and staff on the day.

I was just about to post something similar, and so I will do.

Although I do obviously send my sympathies to Leon's family and friends, I am also thinking of the young guys from Celtic involved in that match, especially those who were involved in Leon's last tackle. They must be feeling terrible at this time and I'm so sad for them. I am sure they are getting well supported at what must be a very, very difficult time for them. I'm sure all my fellow fans at Saints will agree that we are all feeling bad for them too just now.

I came on the Celtic site to post the very same thing, my thoughts are also with the Celtic lads who played in the ill fated match, and to the ones in the last tackle I want to say carry on playing how you play lads, you have my sympathy and support.

on our site there is a very moving video from Leon's father showing great strength in the help that the family has received, also sending a message to the players of the Celtic Crusaders that he wants you all to play on,
I didn't go down to the match because of the cost and time it was played, I would now like to go down to pay respects to Leon and also show support to the Celtics Crusaders who have only just as a club been born into the rugby community that we all pull together at these times.

I not posted the link as I don't want it to be looked upon wrongly

Snowie, I saw the vid on the BBC iPlayer and have to say that I was hugely impressed by his Dad and sister's strength. Was particularly touched by the Dad's kind words for the Cru player that made the last tackle on Leon.

The lad would have been proud at the reaction to his premature death by his family, his friends and his club.

I don't know how many people have seen the press today but the post mortem cleared the rugby league as being the cause of death for Leon. He had no trauma at all. It is sad for the Walker family that his cause of death is still undetermined but it may be of relief to them and to the Celtic lads that it can now be said with certainty that the tackle had no input whatsoever into his death.

Mmmmm,

A relief they weren't responsible perhaps, but probably not that much of a comfort at the moment. Maybe a little bit down the line.
