was watching an nfl doco. on one of their teams and they used the term bomb to describe those long high passes from quaterback to running back and i think gibson took that idea, realized you cant throw the ball forward in RL and adapted it to a "bomb" kick we have

Playing in the National Youth League is certainly bringing these guys to maturity. Getting these youngsters on a bus every other week to travel and then take on decent oppositition is the best training they can get. Also it gives them an inkling what is expected of them once they move on to the first team squad.
