This year Town & Gown match will be played on Sunday the 24th October at the Oxford Rugby Club on the southen by-pass with a 14:00ko. The Town & Gown match is the annual Oxford Cavaliers rlfc -v- Oxford University rlfc match and is played for the Jacque Scott Memorial Ttroph.

In the last 3 year the Cavs have won 2 and lost 1

This year Town and Gown is off, This weekend town and Gown match is been call off and will now be play on Sunday the 28th November 2010 with a 14:00 kick off at the Oxford Rugby Club on the Southen by-pass. The game which is now an annual event that is played for the Jacqueline Scott Memorial Trophy is one of the biggest rugby events held in the city and both sides will be hoping to put on a good performance for all who attend the day. The game has a huge meaning to all involved with both clubs and Jacqueline Scott will be in the minds of all involved on the day. Jacqueline, who was killed in a motorbike accident in 2007, was the physio and huge supporter of both sides and the game will be held in her memory. On sunday 28th November the Oxford Cavaliers RLFC will play Oxford University RLFC in the annual Town & Gown match and is played for the Jacque Scott Memorial Ttroph. The Oxford Cavaliers rlfc and the Oxford University rlfc would like to try and get as meny old Cavaliers and University player down for this match to watch or play if you like. If you like or would like more on this match please call me.

Oxford Cavaliers Haed coach Mr Kev Mason will hold training for this year Town and Gown match on the 28th November. Training will be on Sunday the 14th and the 21st of Novermber 12:00 - 14:00, Kev Mason would like to see as many of you at training. This is onpe to all at the club from the Senior ana The Academy and any old player who would to have a run out too.
