Who really is Rochdale Fastest Rugby Player??
This is the opportunity to prove it!! Following on from the success of last years event, on Bank Holiday Monday the 3rd of May during the Hornets V Gateshead Thunder clash, the Hornets Sprint Challenge will take place to decide who really is Rochdales Fastest Rugby Player 20...10!! Last years winner Adam Wayne representing Littleborough R.U.F.C. claimed the inaugural title. Adam went on to sign professional forms for Hornets this year. Unfortunately Adam is injured this season and wont be running in the event, so that means there will be a new name on the cup in 2010!! We hope to have every Rugby Team in the town represented, both League and Union so it really will be the race to watch!! Those entered into the Sprint Challenge will receive free admission for themselves and a guest to the Hornets V Gateshead fixture. So if you fancy entering email Nicola at the Hornets office nicola.webster@hornetsrugbyleague.com The Hornets V Gateshead fixture kicks off at 3pm with the Hornets Sprint Challenge during the half time break.
