I was told that the game was unrealistic as Rooney and Ronaldo were too good - i.e. you could virtually shoot from anywhere and score.

You were lied to...

Pro Evo 09 is absolutely awesome, much much much better than the past new gen efforts.

As for Fifa, tried the demo, didn't like it, stick with Pro Evo - each to their own though.

If you like player's names, correct team names and over-the-top fancy graphics then choose FIFA. If you like free flowing game play, faster and more accurate football then choose Pro Evo.

IMO Fifa 09 beats Pro Evo all ends up. It has better graphics, gameplay and is more realistic.

Both Fifa and Pro Evo are brilliant. Both are strong in different ways and if you combined them I feel you'd have the perfect game.

as a buyer of both every year for god knows how long, I reckon that this years pro evo is 100% better than last years poor effort.

Fifa is still the best, continuing being the best since the release of the next gen consoles

I have PES2008 and was a little disapointed really, was gonna get PES2009 but am a bit unsure, think Im gonna rent the pair then make a desision, see I havent played FIFA since maybe the 2006 PS2 version, when I played PES and never looked back, until now.
