HISTORY IS LITTERED WITH UNTHRUTH'S:

I CAN ASSURE YOU THERE IS NOT A HURRICANE ON IT'S WAY TO BRITAIN............MICHAEL FISH (BBC WEATHERMAN).

I DID NOT HAVE SEX WITH THAT WOMAN..............BILL CLINTON (PRESIDENT OF THE U.S.A).

OUR STADIUM WILL BE READY FOR THE 2010 SEASON................JOHN WILKINSON (SALFORD CHAIRMAN).

Hopefully it will move everyone a bit closer to the truth, especially the people who have lost loved ones.

didn't really wish anyone dead just said that i hoped he would never experience the levels of loss that some of us experienced on that faateful day, BTW it was great to see some united fans at anfield for the memorial service.

In LFC fans eyes, who is culpable? Just the police? My opinion still remains that one agency/ person can't be held accountable for the deaths. It was definitely a culmination of things. Do you agree?

Didn't William Webb Ellis pick up the ball and run, someone should really tell Rugby Union.

From the little I have read, to date the stewarding has to be criticised too. All they had to do was direct the fans away from the central section. It's all if's and buts. Hopefully the release of the investigation will put a broader perspective on it.

Well who was responsible for opening the gate
Who should of closed the gate to the central pen?
Who decided that it was crowd trouble?

Basically the authorites 'froze' If it wasnt for the liverpool fans using the net to pick people out , using the advertisng hoardings as stetchers and pulling them out there would have been many more casualities. These are the same scouse lads who are later acused of p!ssing on the dead and stealing their wallets.

As for justice - Police officer Martin Long recieved £330,000 compensation from the trauma of the day.

Phil Hammond who lost his 14 year old son recieved £3,500.

Not been to Hillsborough myself so please tell me did he go through central pen and turn right or is there another turnstile?

the police were a set of c*nts.

Guy trys to use advertising hoarding as a stretcher.....people are dieing all around

policeman says ''you can't just vandalise the stadium''

I hope the police that day that pretty much stood around and did nothing as people were dieing can live with the guilt.

Stewards at most sporting venues are awful, just fans in bright coats. I don't think they would have been able to do that even if they wanted.

There was a good point made in the daily mirror , oliver holt i think , he claims

I tell you what: if this disaster had happened at Wimbledon, or Ascot, or a Royal polo match, there would have been the most searching public inquiry you could ever imagine.

So true , the liverpool fans were stamped 'hooligans' , they even tested a 10 year old lads blood sample to see whether he was drunk.
