Blackhouse gets my vote too. Excellent food, excellent service and fantastic atmosphere. A guy starts playing the piano at around 8pm every night.

Although it can get expensive, the steaks are great and the Kobi Fillet is to die for....then again it should be at £55.
The cows are massaged since birth and fed on a beer diet!!! How I wish I was a Kobi steak!!!

Visited Gauchos when we were up. Slightly disappointing to be honest. River Plate next time methinks.
Tweet from @martinoffiah 23/08/2011: 'Must admit i did love watching Saints- Cunningham Joynt Longy Tommy then Leon, last classic RL team ever'. Even the dark side can't help but love the rebellion.

We got a room there for a Saints game once - a little extravagant as we only live a few miles away but fantastically convenient.

We parked in the clubs car park no problem.

It pissed it down through the game and we were soaked so nipped into our room, quick change and popped in to the Long Bar for a couple of post match bevies.

Oh and here’s a tip – don’t bother buying tickets for the game, you don’t have to. Even if there is security on the gate, just show them your room key and they’ll let you through.
Fat people are harder to kidnap.

I think Fat Boys map on page 1 should be edited to include any cake shops!

not even ainsleys anymore, copelands are worse.

Ainsleys used to do a lovely fresh cream cake, and strawberry tarts in the summer
