HT in the South of France. 4-4. Why is Bongser reminded of a notorious Football World Cup group game that saw Austria. All the other games in that group had already already been completed. A draw was of mutual benefit and, after trading goals in the first half, they both switched off in the second. This led to all final games being scheduled at the same time from then on. But then came the disease that is SKY. Let's see....

No chance Catalans will aim for a draw when the win would see them safe.

And if Cats are playing to win then Widnes have to try to win too to avoid the MPG.

A draw would not be intentional, but it would be just our bloody luck if it does happen!

I'm literally just supporting whoever is winning in this game!

As a Leigh fan and a Bolton fan it's a nice change to be a glory hunter for once!

Since had fiver on a draw but want widnes to win , then be cheering you lot on next week. If Catalan were 12 10 10 seconds to go and get a penalty under the posts, cats would have to kick start goal.

Wow that was a heart stopper. Heaven help me next week. I'll have to grab the defibrillator from work to have on standby

Far too close for comfort but that is as good a result as we could hope for really.

Didn't see anything that looked ban worthy. In the first half a Catalan player did come away from a tackle holding his hand/wrist and looked in significant pain but can't remember who it was or if he stayed on. It was a tough game though and both looked exhausted at the end
