Scruton is showing his age - spent a lot of tbe match blowing and taking an age to get back in line.
Kav played OK.
Clarkson played OK but never been a real fan.
Donno great but too small.
Greenwood OK but not great impact.
Tomkins didn't get much ball distribution.
Tickle OK but similar to Scuton, aging now.
Mulhern awesome but he was the only one with the leg drives.

As I said, lack of Masoe for his power, Jewitt for being a nasty B, Blair fir his passion and Carney on the wing for his hand offs were a massive and noticable loss. I didn't understand the pundits saying this was our strongest team before the match either.

Have to say a big thanks to KR. A beautiful 4 figure return on Reds minus 9.5 start.
That's my Bali spends all sorted.
In all seriousness, I think if you lose the next 2 then you're in the MPG away from home or worse

Funny you say that.....FC will fight back and it’s this week so a close loss
Then total negativity will take over for last 5 games
LR will force an effort this week but giving the team a roasting is worth one game only
Just like you guys we have issues just slightly different ones

As much as it pains me to say it but i totally agree with him. Should we lose to Toronto, and i think its the MPG for Rovers. I fear Toulouse away also. This is the strongest Middle 8's year since its inception. Its between us and Widnes as to who is in the MPG.
Sorry for the pessimism but deep down this is how i feel. We have to play 10 times better than we did against Salford.

Re: Salford @ home : Tue Aug 14, 2018 4:45 pm
Salford outplayed us and look in a very good position now. We lacked go forward without Masoe, Jewitt, Blair & J.Carney and it hurt us.

Rovers still have a good chance of making the top 3. We are not in the last chance saloon yet but it will certainly help if we beat Toronto. It won't be easy but with the right attitude I think we will have too much for them.

Looking like Jewitt, Blair & J. Carney back for the Leeds game hopefully we will not suffer further injuries or suspensions in Canada.
