Andy Farrell or Sir Kevin Sinfield

Both captained their side with distinction winning every major club honour possible. Players with different attributes but who was the best?

There isn’t any question who the better loose forward was. It’s not even close between the pair with Farrell being streets ahead.

Who was the better player would be the better question. In week to week rugby Farrell would again be comfortably in front but you just can’t knock Sinfields record when the big games came round.

Farrell and Sculthorpe were both better players than Sinfield.

All three were class acts though.

Neither. Sculthorpe was better than both.

Surely it can only be a player from Catalans. Probably the best RL side I have ever witnessed in this season's comp.

Absolutely no comparison. Pan face Farrell by a country mile. Sorry, 300 country miles. Silly poll. Should be Farrell v Sculthorpe of which there would be an argument for both

If by the best you mean who could perform at the highest level then neither.

Sculthorpe was the only one who could cut it against the Aussies and earn their respect.

Before their respective supporters get their knickers in a twist though they both made enormous contributions to their club at Super League level and as a club fan that's what you really need and want, someone who is consistently good and makes your team better. They both did that, not only good but durable - nobody is any good sitting in the stands.
