Dreadful referee, no relationship with the players he will have already pickedwho he's going to favour and will allow catalan to slow the play the ball and lie all over us. Think its diminished our chances of winning considerably.

He didn't stop us from demolishing Wigan in the quarter-final. Rather him than Childish

He's one of the better ones, although admittedly that's like saying chronic vomiting is one of the better symptoms of food poisoning.

Hopefully Chris Hill will be sending a bouquet of flowers to his room Friday night.

I try not to laugh but do find it funny that many fans constantly complain about all the bad refs yet I've very rarely seen anyone say who the good refs are. So maybe there aren't any..... So that means the bad refs are the norm, and therefore a bad ref is to be expected. Is 'truly dreadful' worse than 'bad'?
:/

Maybe we should resurrect "Sergeant Major" Eric Clay.

They all take themselves so terribly seriously though, don't they? Stood behind the posts, sweating like a butcher at a vegan dinner party, hyperventilating into their microphone and hitching their pants up like a pound bakery regular at lunch time.

At least John Holdsworth knew he was a portly figure of fun, and played up to it in wonderfully shakesperian style. He was the Sir Alec Guinness of the whistle.

Hicks just edges Child for me. Best two refs easy.
