The heading on the article says Opinion. That's all it is.

You are again showing your complete lack of RL knowledge, Jake. I suspect though that your total condemnation of Clarkson is because he is a KR player rather than a considered view of his performances over the season.

Ok, considering HKR are looking to get rid of him, and they are still scrambling to secure a SL place for next season, I can conclude that this is a player we shouldn't be looking at to 'improve' our squad.

As I mentioned a couple of pages back, I don't mind a couple of shorter term 1 year deals for people like Hanson as that will not impede the big overhaul that we will undertake at the end of next season. We cannot sign players now, of sufficient calibre, on long deals, as I have a feeling there is a lot of business already done for 2020. I would be looking at someone like Francis Tualau who is a huge person, quite young, good impact and would add good size to our pack

I agree with you that Pearson was probably talking out of his backside, but what you have basically done there is take someones opinion and use it as evidence that you were correct. It is not. You may as well go on Facebook and find someone who shares your opinion and use that.

No Jake is right, Clarkson is Washbrook without the versatility, a squad filler rather than one near the first choice 17. Being good enough to be a regular starter in the dobbins pack and a Super League pack are not one and the same. Not a signing I would be happy about and neither would be Hock for any number of the many previously raised issues about him.

Hansen was playing in the championship this season agreed but he is a SL player. Nothing lost in giving him a 1 year deal is there ? Can't see you signing Hock, and i'm sure KR will want to keep Clarkson, assuming they don't get relegated.

Where did you read that we were trying to get rid of him? It is only speculation at this stage. TS has been quite complementary about his performances of late so if he is moving in it may just be his decision. You should not get rumours and facts mixed up.

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

The issue for me with Hock as a signing is we got rid/sold Watts who is without doubt one of the best forwards in SL and the rumoured reason being his discipline yet Hock is no where the level of Watts in today's game yet with more issues than Watts.

All clubs have supporters that that overreact on rumours. They are best ignored.
