Did anyone else come away from the game feeling like we had lost?

From what I managed to actually watch on the stream - which wasn't much - it seemed like the defence was decent but once again the attack was pretty average.

It summed it up for me when they were down to ten men and we had a penalty on their line. Two attempts to scoot over from dummy half and then we lost the ball! We absolutely must have had an overlap with three extra men. It's not rocket science - just whip the ball out along the line and the winger will have a walk in with their lack of numbers

As it stands, we'll be playing Whitehaven. However, it might be a bit of a catalyst for them to pull out all the stops next week against York and do us a favour.

Whitehaven at York, Oldham at London Skolars (also with a vastly superior points difference)

We actually can't play Whitehaven - the only way they can finish 5th is to beat York. And assuming we beat Hemel, then we get promoted and its York vs Whitehaven in the play offs

So barring a miracle it will be us versus Oldham at Odsal in two weeks. And after today they will be confident of turning us over!

How come they only had 10 men at finish?

I'm really worried about having to gain promotion through play-offs.

Just this. At least two tries lost from Flanagan’s try line fever - we were stood near Chizzy and he was going mad - I can really understand his frustration sometimes! Play some great moves coming up field (when we not knocking on) then all goes to poop near the line as good TEAM play drops outta their heads! Thought storton and Wood each had a cracking error free game . Really think Wood organises the team defensively as it showed when he went off to the blood bin and they scored two quick tries. Think Storton played well and looks the part.

Wouldn't be so sure about Whitehaven.

Oldham will have a depleted squad against a London side who are no mugs on their own patch. They have had some poor results but remember they nearly pulled off a shock against York just over a month ago.

Good 1st half, bloody awful second half. The attempted scoots from DH when we had a three man advantage were utterly brainless.

The attacking play in general is pants at the moment.
