I see Saint Helens have confirmed Barba is to join North Queensland Cowboys for 2019. http://www.rugby-league.com/article/535 ... -st-helens Interestingly they got an "acceptable transfer fee". I wonder if we got an "acceptable transfer fee" for Roberts from Gold Coast Titans as the situations are identical with both players homesick.

Think Roberts had an option to leave after 1 season.

Yes, Roberts had a clause in his contract that he could head back to the NRL should he wish, after year one, presumably if he informed us before a certain date. Presumably if he said he wanted to leave after year 2, we could enforce a transfer fee.
