does anyone know what's happened to talanoa ? I'm hearing he's not on the new team photo and looking on the website of the company who did the media day photoshoot he,s not even on that !! I cannot remember seeing him at either Doncaster or last week at Wakefield

Interesting in the HDM in the story about Sneyd at the bottom of it on the injury front it stated 4 players to miss the start it read 'Green (Achillies) Bowden (Knee) & Westerman (Knee) will all be missing while Talanoa is listed as injured and won't feature in round one' but it has since changed to Talanoa (knee).

Maybe nothing in it but seems odd the way its written

In the Yorkshire Post article last week, AP mentioned Talanoa as being one of a number of players struggling to be fit after a post op infections.

“We’re finding more and more get infections after their ops – it’s happened five or six times now – but we should have everyone back by round five or six."
“As a supporter, I know I’ll have to be patient and it will take longer than expected as people like Joe Westerman, Mark Minichiello and Fetuli Talanoa are all taking longer to get fit."

Hmmmm just thought it was odd initially that it said 'Talanoa listed as injured and won't feature round one' then since added 'knee'.

Just maybe the cynical side of me as I'm getting older Pete but just an odd thing to me the way/context its written, why not just say all 4 will be missing just odd to state he is listed as injured ans will not feature?

He isn't on any official photos and his club pen pic is from the shirt launch and not the official photocall
