So what was his excuse this week? Upset stomach? I have never known a player with no known injury suddenly not appear for a match as often as Gaskell has, i can think of at least 4 occasions when he has missed games despite no mention of an injury and being named in the matchday squad. Totally throws your preparation into the air when a half back withdraws at the last minute.

yeh , week before then he was injured so flared up again along with half the teams injuries do

he has played more than quite a few players in our team.... they can be called sicknotes too then mcgillvary, cudjoe, clough, ferguson,...could go on pointless to single out gaskell when he has played more than most

It's the fact that he so often disappears on game day that narks me, he has done it many times, if a player has a longterm injury fair enoigh with gaskell he has many 1 week mystery problems

yes he dropped out of the saints match last season in warm up, that was poor.

different today cant expect him to play with a torn quad

It’s not torn, if it was he wouldn’t have trained all week or have done the warm up

Don’t worry he is only here for another 3.5 years. Despite him being known for being injury prone.
