The head shot on Abdull was right in front of me. It wasn't especially late, but that doesn't matter in the slightest because it was a deliberate shot to the head, on a player unable to protect himself.
To make matters worse the ref, who was so out of his depth it was untrue (Tomkins and Bird did most of the reffing all night) wasn't even going to stop play never mind give a penalty. It was only Pelissier jumping in that forced him to blow his whistle and settle it down. Seeing Abdull spark out he decided he had no choice but to do something but even then only went for a yellow. And he balanced that out by sending Elon to join him. Joke.
This is a hell of a tough sport as it is, we need to protect players from outright thuggery.
