Thought Woods had a bad injury? Also, not a good time to have no D/R backs from Saints - I see that Bentley, Costello, Swift and Richardson are all in Saints 19 man squad for Sunday.

Brierley full back and Gregson or A Thornley at centre?

Showing why even with best intentions, cannot rely on DR to have a full squad. We need some players of our own, especially if there is no intention of ever giving Simms, Holroyd or Higginson a game.

I wonder if Saints will release Costello, or Bentley, on Sunday, when they are more confident about the make up of their 17? I can't see Woods having made a miraculous recovery by then.

Ironically Higginson is back in the squad, after his loan spell at Rochdale.

Be surprised if woods is fit,maybe he's named in the squad because we have to name 19

I reckon that's the likely reason too. Maybe we'll get Costello on Sunday?
